The Insidious Art of Compromise

The Insidious Art of Compromise

Chip, chip, chip, Congressional compromising has all but destroyed any remaining vestige of our freedom and has left us with only a remembrance of freedom and the remnants of freedoms past. As you read this, Congress is working at warp speed to destroy as much of your remaining freedoms as they can by some of the most blatant and criminal acts ever know to man. For example, if they should fail to get a bill passed on its own merit, they are very happy to offer you a compromise that gets just a little, actually all, of what they originally wanted, and if done right, you nothing of any sustenance.

I was appalled the other night while watching Governor Mike Huckabee interview radio talk show host Mad Cow and try to explain, to him, that congress would never get anything done if they could not compromise. I agree with the radio talk show host that compromising is exactly the thing that has destroyed our freedom in America.

Imagine your neighbor continually suing you in an effort to take away your property and each time that he does, you decide to compromise and give him a couple of feet of your front yard in an effort to get him to go away.

You can soon see the fallacy of this kind of defense as it encourages your neighbor to quickly file a suite again and again, and after several compromises, on your part, you find that your neighbor now owns a part, if not all, of your house and is asking you to please move. To compromise is to lose something, be sure that you can afford it.

At this point, Congress has reduced any and all credibility to our judicial system to the point that it has become a glaring joke that is not, in any stretch of your imagination, funny; indeed it has become as insidious and as criminal as the politics of Berlin in the late 1930s and has parallels so exacting as to scare the hell out of any Berliner.

Yes the Tea party has loudly told them no tax hikes and no more ridiculous freedom robbing legislation. So instead of voting no on the bills that the people don’t want, they hide the bill inside of another bill that have had the contents emptied as a disguise and ram it through without even so much as a reading of the bill, or they do the compromise thing and trade a bunch of bills into passing by hiding and bundling it up with a bunch of other bills that seem less dangerous and less likely to make you puke in trade for something that you want.

The problem goes even further; what they usually get is permanent and what you get is temporary as reference to the so called tax compromise. In fact this deal is so rotten that they hid funding for the horrific healthcare bill that should be thrown out for many reasons including the fact that it is unconstitutional, it also includes the horrific so called “Food Safety Bill” that will destroy our food sources and make the price of eating sky high and includes a number of other bills that they want to slide in without your inspection such as the bill that will transfer most mineral bearing lands into a national park and tie up oil and mining production in America for decades to come.

I think that it is too late to save our country by simply passing a few laws that would force the Congress to address each issue as a separate bill because they have already passed so many freedom killing bills.

I think that it is time for the States to pull together and disband our present federal government and form a new government as outlined in our Constitution by our forefathers, who were smart enough to know that it would become necessary one day.

I also feel that the states need to ensure that the next government follows the constitution to the letter of its law and to punish anyone for treason who should circumnavigate these laws for any reason including personal gains.

I don’t know as to how everyone or, for that matter, anyone else feels about it, but my freedom is not up for compromise.

I will gladly abide by any and all laws that are constitutional.

I will also be compelled by my sense of justice to challenge any law that is not constitutional.

The following is a creed to live by.

CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

As a citizen of the United Stated of America, I hereby agree to abide by any and all State or Federal laws that are Constitutional.

I further agree and affirm that I have the right and obligation as a citizen, to challenge any law that is deemed;

1. Unconstitutional,

2. Made specifically to accommodate special interest,

3. Would be deemed unreasonable or outdated by the common and prudent citizen.

Further;

1. Rights are not "granted" to us by the government -- they are ours by our very nature, by our birthright.

2. ALL just political authority is derived from the people -- and government exists solely with our consent!

3. We the people of the several states created the federal government -- not the other way around!

4. The Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that which has been delegated by the people to the federal government in the Constitution -- and nothing more.

5. The People of each State have the sole and exclusive right and power to govern themselves in all areas not delegated to their government.

6. A Government without limits IS A TYRANNY!

7. When Congress enacts laws and regulations that are not made in Pursuance of the powers enumerated in the Constitution, the People are not bound to obey them.

Keep your powder dry.
