Gullible fools and politicians
As a citizen of the United States of America and as a product of a long list of hard working folks who prided themselves for integrity and did not take their freedom for granted but knew how fragile it can be, I am astounded and sickened by the casual way that many Americans do take their freedom for granted and are so willing to toss it all away for a pig in the poke and a free handout or two.
Even those that are gullible enough to think that the health care bill will actually improve health care, should be highly concerned that their government can now pass a bill by simply ignoring the rule of law, trashing the Constitution and making up the rules as they see fit in order to pass legislation that they know full well is unwanted by the majority who are still of sound mind and have not fallen into the trap.
I can see maybe how a progressive could get elected by the brainwashed younger generation, who have been promised a life of milk and honey and where the streets are paved with gold, in exchanged for a vote. What I have a real problem with however, is how a politician can so eagerly and knowingly take advantage of these fools and destroy a great nation for simple greed and power.
It is incomprehensible to me that any (politician) could shit in its own nest and claim how proud they are of it. Then maybe that is the definition of a progressive politician.
