Reply to NY prosecutor's unlawful confiscation of knives

I find your rationale concerning your attempts to undermine the citizen’s right to carry and use folding knives seriously flawed and dangerous to the underlying principles of a free society.

Your offensive and illegal attack on private business, the confiscation of their property, levee of fines and threats and intimidation is unconscionable and reminiscence of Chicago style extortion by the Mafia.

Where on earth did you ever get the idea that you were so above the law? One can only conclude that you are a part of the new lawless and blatant progressive movement who are attempting to destroy the little remaining freedom that our country clings to.

I noticed in your campaign that you were concerned with the safety of your district but how are the law abiding citizens going to stay safe from a prosecutor that operates outside of the law.

You also claim that fairness stems from your skills; I think that your victims (business owners) would certainly differ with that notion.

Don’t think for a minute that our society will let you get away with such a seditious action and if you should succeed, prepare yourself for the aftermath.

When will your kind ever learn that the more laws that you create, the more criminals we will have. Making criminals out of law abiding citizens is not going to reduce crime and those that are predisposed to crime in the first place are not going to give a damn about any new law that was created in a lame effort to hamper their lawlessness.

Cutlery is one of mans most useful tools and is essential for mans subsistence and survival. I have spent nearly 35 years of making knives of various styles and have been a part of a growing community of people who make, use and collect knives. I feel as though these folks are the most trustworthy members of the community and I will place my faith in them.

These are very trying days and our country’s survival is at stake. I know that the most danger comes, not so much from the thug on the street, but from overzealous politicians who think that they are above the law and who will use any excuse to further their position and greed. If you want to stop the violence in New York, stand aside and let the people create jobs for themselves.
