Unconstitutional Laws

Summary

Perhaps it is time to challenge any law that is deemed to be unconstitutional.

Where were the checks and balances in government? We trust our government to look out for the citizen’s welfare, right?

I guess the words “power corrupts completely” applies to America as well as it did in Rome and after all, who, in government, is strong enough to resist the millions of dollars handed out by corporate lobbyists.

In 1913, internal forces finally succeeded in usurping the constitution to a degree and illegally made a deal with private banking concerns to form the privately owned Federal Reserve. Also in 1913 the government formed the IRS as a cover for the newly formed Fed and the highly questionable practices that it would pursue over the years.

Could an average Joe Blow citizen challenge the constitutionality of a law by simply disobeying it and having his day in court? Or would it require tens of thousands of unified citizens working in concert to have any effect.

Now that the politicos in power have taken control over the main stream media and have devised tactics that prevent them from being thrown out of office, it is now impossible for the average citizen to put in his two cents worth or file his complaints. Who’s working for whom here?

Unconstitutional Laws

By this time, if there is any one left in America that does not know that our country is in deep trouble, they have to be either brain dead or lead a very sheltered life.

Over this past century, it is both amazing and disgusting that our leaders have methodically disgraced themselves and dishonored their political positions to such a degree while blatantly leading us, like sheep to a slaughter, to the brink of disaster and with little more than n occasional whimper from the masses. Yes there were a few exasperated watchdogs, who tried to warn the comatose about the impending train wreck but they have been mostly ignored by both the media, which we once thought so highly of, and the complacent and lethargic citizen who for the most part is still asleep at the wheel.

How could this happen, we ask? Where were the checks and balances in government? After all our government was set up with separate divisions so that one could oversee the other, right? We trust our government to look out for the citizen’s welfare, right?

I guess the words “power corrupts completely” applies to America as well as it did in Rome and after all, who is strong enough to resist the millions of dollars spent by corporate lobbyists.

It seems odd that so many folks think that capitalism is the culprit because after all it was the greedy corporations that caused all of our problems, Right? Did these same folks ever ask how it is that our government has grown to such a large size with volumes of laws, rules and regulation and still can’t control the greed of the corporate? Perhaps they never noticed that it is the corporations who are the ones who write the majority of our laws.

These corporate made laws are in themselves devastating enough to our nation, the small business owners and the citizen, but the real monster demon here is when our leaders, in cahoots with corporate or not, attack our constitution in an attempt to gain more government power over the people.

Over the past century or so, there have been those that thought our constitution has been too constraining for the benefit of our government and have systematically tried, with far too much success, to destroy it or at least minimize it.

In 1913, those forces finally succeeded in usurping the constitution to a degree and illegally made a deal with private banking concerns to form the privately owned Federal Reserve. The truly sad part of this deal was that this new monster did not have to show its books to any auditor and had complete powers over our monetary system. Also in 1913 the government formed the IRS as a cover for the newly formed Fed and the highly questionable practices that it would pursue over the years.

In 1933 FDR confiscated all gold coins and other forms of gold in order that the Fed could swing into high gear and reward itself and cohorts by taxing the citizen by simply over printing and deflating the once solid and now fau dollar.
Perhaps there is some way to correct all the wrongs before the inevitable train wreck and save our selves from a complete police state that will probably in turn lead to complete anarchy and civil uprising. This will only happen if and when the common citizen decides to educate themselves about government and start listening to the words of our fore fathers and stop listening to the latest brain dead pop star of the moment who has a new cop killing, book burning, save the endangered ring worm rap album.

Should all attempts fail at voting the corrupt and blatant rascals out of office, it may come down to using other non violent methods of action to gain our means such as civil disobedience and flooding the courts with constitutional concerns.

Should a law be deemed unconstitutional by the common man on the street, would it then become legal for someone to actually disobey or ignore it?

Could an average Joe Blow citizen challenge the constitutionality of a law by simply disobeying it and having his day in court? Or would it require tens of thousands of unified citizens working in concert to have any effect.

Now that the politicos in power have taken control over the main stream media and have devised tactics that prevent them from being thrown out of office, it is impossible for the average citizen to put in his two cents worth or file his complaints.

Attempts to contact your representatives are heeded with auto response messages and promptly get filed without as much as a glance. Crowds can gather in a protest and the “bought and paid for” “Lame Stream” media will find a way of minimizing the event or simply do a non report.

Is it time, for the citizen, to challenge any and all government rules, regulations and laws that is deemed to be unconstitutional?
