Our freedom to worship or not, devided we fall
This is in response to a Facebook post regarding the "Pledge of Allegiance" and the god content that seems to bother some people. It asked people to re-post if God didn't bother them and I replied below.
I am not religious, however I will proudly share this.
The reason is so damn simple; Our forefathers were very wise and gave us the right to worship as we so choose to or as we choose not to.
When we start thinking about our freedoms, or the lose of, and who our real enemies are and come to realize that our enemies glee over our stupid debates about everything from A to Z, then and only then will we all come together and fight for what is important, our freedoms and our freedom of choice.
If we continue to bicker over whether God should or shouldn't be mentioned in school, on government buildings, over abortion and over the myriad of made up issues that cloud our thinking, we will continue the spiral down to a hell that we made ourselves and freedom will be no more.
They have divided us and that is the first rule of warfare, so please stop the bullshit and start thinking like a general and unite with your brothers instead of fighting them.
