Ron Paul Still Cooking After Santorum Leaves Race
The presidential race for GOP nomination is still keeping most of us on the edge of our seats and with the withdrawal of Rick Santorum, we are wondering what is going to happen next.
One rumor has it that Rick may seek the VP position and try and throw his delegates to Mitt Romney and if that were true it could give Mitt some more delegates.
Some think that the Santorum votes were simply anti Romney votes and those votes could now very well go to either Newt Gingrich or more likely over to Ron Paul.
One thing for sure, a lot of folks are reluctant to get behind Mitt Romney as the polls have shown and Ron Paul continues to pack the halls to capacity with every appearance.
And so the big question is; if Ron Paul doesn’t get his very well deserved nomination, will he seek an independent run? And if he runs as an independent will the people get behind him?
And when you think about Goldman Sachs supporting both Obama and Romney, do you really think that one of them is going to protect your freedom that much better over the other?
I guess that the real question to that is; should we lose our freedom to someone that deliberately takes it from us or from someone who is just so far out of touch with reality that he lets Congress and the lobbyists take it behind our backs.
New Daily Bell Poll: A number of impassioned suggestions for Ron Paul's next steps have been put forward recently. Dr. Paul should:
• Stick with his campaign for Republican Party nomination. "No Paul = No Vote for the GOP" ... I'm demanding the GOP recognize my libertarian voice.
• Throw his hat in the ring for the Libertarian nomination. It's high time for a third party president and I think he can win.
• Keep promoting his message of liberty to the end of this race and then enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
• Run for president as an Independent candidate. The entire "party" system is a sham anyway.
I’m still very much hoping that somehow the majority of the people will wake up in time and see what is going on and how the media has stolen the Ron Paul ground swell and realize that not only is Ron Paul our only hope of keeping our country and our freedom, but that he is also the only one that could and will beat Obama in a land slide.
